Location and parking
Venue: We have been fortunate to secure the Ballarat Minerdome, 994 Grevillea Rd, Wendouree, Victoria for all the dance sessions and convention activities. The stadium sits on the corner of Grevillea Rd and Dowling St and is accessible from both directions.
Parking: The stadium has two car parks, one on each end of the building, as well as plenty of free street parking.

Dance sessions at a glance
The dance sessions are: Thursday evening, Friday afternoon, Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, Sunday afternoon, Sunday evening, Monday afternoon and Monday evening. The convention also includes round dancing and clogging sessions.
Theme Night: Our ‘Join the Ride’ theme night will be held on the Sunday evening. Dancers are encouraged to dress up and ‘Join the Ride’!
Dressed Set Parade: Clubs wishing to be included in the Dressed Set Parade must provide relevant details in the registration form. The Parade will be held on the Friday Evening.

Accommodation

Registrations
Dancer Registration: Please ensure that all details are legible and bank details etc. are correct. Any expenses incurred by the committee for incorrect or illegible details will be passed on to the credit card holder or first listed dancer. Non-Dancing parties should be registered in order to receive a non-dancer ribbon (at no cost). Spectators will be admitted free of charge to a designated area.
Caller/Cuer Registration: Callers and Cuers interested in being programmed must register as a dancer as well as completing the Caller/Cuer registration. Completion of the Caller/Cuer registration does not guarantee inclusion in the program – closing date is 30th November 2026.
Junior Dancer/Creche: Registrations for a child dancer age 12 and under are free. Children up to the age of 12, who are registering for creche, will be $75 per child. Children not in creche will need to be supervised by their parents while at the venue. Dancers who will be between the ages of 13 - 18 as at 15/4/27 will have a registration fee of $75.

Booths and Advertising
Booths: Booth space will be available to suitable vendors for a cost of $50 (1 table and 2 chairs, additional tables available at $25 each)
Advertising in the program: We welcome advertising in our Program Booklet in both full page (A6) and half page. Please complete the appropriate sections on the registration form and email your artwork to secretary@2027.ansdc.au in MS Word doc, PDF or JPEG format no later than 31/12/26. Inclusion of advertisements is at the discretion of the committee.

Other information
Convention Packs: Convention packs will be available for collection at the venue on Thursday 15th April between 1pm and 3 pm. After this time they will be available from 6:30pm on Thursday and Friday. Your convention Pack includes your ribbon, which must be worn while attending any/all parts of the convention.
Meals and Refreshments: Tea and coffee will be available free of charge during all dance sessions. The Ballarat Minerdome has a kiosk which will be open during the convention for those wishing to purchase snacks, soft drinks, tea and coffee. The venue also boasts a bistro, which has agreed to offer a fixed price menu for dinners, however pre-booking is essential. Additional details will be released on our website.
