Janice leads the overall planning and delivery of the Convention.
She coordinates all departments, keeps everything running smoothly,
and represents the Convention in official matters.

Peter manages the Convention’s finances — from budgeting and banking

Programme Manager
TONY BOWRING
Tony is crafting an exciting and balanced programme of dancing, workshops, and special events.
He liaises with callers, cuers, and other performers to build a fun and engaging schedule.
Registrar
PETER MCCONNACHIE
Peter takes care of all registration matters.
From online bookings to on-site check-ins,
he ensures every attendee registration is accounted for.

This dynamic duo is spreading the word far and wide!
Hayley and Merryn are managing media, social channels, promotions, and keeping the dance community informed and engaged.

Venue Coordination
GREIG WIGHT & ANDREW VERHOEF
Andrew and Greig are handling venue logistics, including layout, equipment, signage, and setup
They will be making sure all spaces are dance-ready and welcoming.
Decorations
CARMEL SINCLAIR
Carmel is bringing colour and character to the event with her creative decoration planning.
Expect Ballarat to sparkle with Convention spirit!
Hospitality
BRENDA COCKBURN
Brenda is making all the arrangements to ensure everyone can be comfortable at the Convention making sure the dancers have access to refreshments.
Board Liaison
HOWARD COCKBURN
Howard acts as the link between the organising team and the
Australian National Square Dance Society Board.
With vast experience in all Square Dance matters,
He ensures that national standards are met and provides valuable guidance.
Round Dance Liaison
BEV MCLACHLAN assisted by LEANNE BARRON
Bev acts as a link between the committee and the Australian Round Dance Committee. Bev with the assistance of Leanne ensures that the programme has a variety of rounds for us to enjoy at the Convention.
Clogging Liaison
JASON & LEANNE NICHOLSON
Jason and Leanna act as a link between the committee and the Australian Clogging Association to ensure that the cloggers have a great time too!
